Where to buy Rear replacement Struts for the MP3?

Trailblazer SS AWD ....Still a Mazda Junkie Though.
Buddy needs a set for his car and I am coming up empty with replacements. Doesnt need anything special, but just a new replacement as his are shot.

Just get tokico blues or msp struts. Aren't MSP struts the same?

Give me a min. I gotta get a project knocked out @ work, but I'll look around and cross check some part numbers for you after while.

*I'm pretty sure I saw a pair of msp struts or tokico blues with low miles f/s on here yesterday, too...
 
yup msp rear struts are diff. they make ur car sit like an inch higher in the back. thats y i dont run them :D
 
He wants new. He doesn't want to spend nearly $400 on a pair of new blues that we don't even know where to get and none of the parts stores show a replacement strut for the MP3. So links to places to buy NEW replacements would be awesome.

New stock replacements are going to be around $290 per corner. Get the blues and be done with it.

I'll be selling my Tokico Illuminas & RS*R race springs this upcoming winter, most likely. If he wants to wait. (lol2)

Only set of RS*R's in the states, to my knowledge.
 
Give Jason at OMP a call, he'll be able to get you a price for OEM struts. Believe it or not it may just be cheaper than going aftermarket.
 
He just wants replacement. He doesn't want to upgrade, and if there are others out there other than OEM, mo need spending so much on them. I thought KYB made. Replacement non adjustable strut for this application?
 
KYB GR2s may or may not be available, but for OEM replacements, vs tokico blues, vs illuminas, I'd say you're talking about a wash on price depending on where you source each one. hunt for the best deal on each of the 3 and buy based on that.
 
You could try tirerack for the KYB's....I know they sell replacements for the P5. As for OEM...the rear struts for a P5 from OMP are $57.23ea.....I understand that the MP3 should be more due to the suspension it came with stock but can't hurt to call.
 
Why are people recommending KYBs to replace Tokico struts? What a waste...
Seriously, the blues will be close to the same price as the KYBs and are as close to replacements as you'll ever find.
