Ugh, NO!

At least this Toyota OEM filter is one more source to check for better price on our Thai filter if interested.Ugh, NO!They are $9.98 + $4.49 + tax now. $15.42 each!
I feel that 12-pack OEM MV filter for $34.99 shipped deal is too good to be true and it should be just a one-time deal.
The PY8W-14-302 has been superseded by a WPY-14-302. If you order the original PY8W part number you will probably receive the WPY. The WPY-14-302 is made in Thailand. You have a 2.5T CX-9, and the correct OEM oil filter is PY8W-14-302 (Tokyo Roki from Japan), not PE01-14-302A or PE01-14-302B which is for 2.5L.
Taiwanese filters? Went to mazdaswag.com and checked, it’s OEM 1WPE-14-302 Denso oil filter from Thailand, not Taiwan. The price is $6.42 before shipping.Search MAzdaswag .com its a dealer's website. It has the Taiwanese filters for 6.80 bucks. I don't knw if shipping is free and have never used them. They are my backup.
what about the Wix oil filter on Amazon? Seems to be getting good reviews.
Just a heads up for anyone from Australia - WESFIL has started making Mazda CX-X oil filters specifically for those models. part number on them reads PE01-14-302 Nippon Max series. Cross reference for them is OEM PE0114302, WIX 57002. Better than the general RYCO Z436
Agreed. Thanks @sergeyv. @CX5_Driver, I think it might be a good idea to add this info to the CX-5 General Knowledge resource.
