Where is MAM!??

The manifold that "supposidly has shipped to gboromsp" supposidly shipped back in APRIL as well. MAM is 1 big fat liar. I'm sorry but I have all the PM"s to back up my statements (I am buying the manifold from gboromsp locally so this is why it's my business too). I tore my car apart to put on the GHL 3" exhaust a gt28rs and the manifold because BEAU said it HAD shipped back in April. Well May came around and still no manifold, so we put my car back together and I said I'd just install it when It came. Well here it is almost July and STILL NO MANIFOLD. This is the 3rd time it has "shipped". Jeph, the manifold is STILL NOT HERE let MAM know that, though I'm sure it's UPS or USPS's fault as it's easy to pass the blame on them. Jason (gboromsp) is out of town right now so I'm pretty much speaking for him too. MAM may build TOP QUALITY products but their service is that of garbage, and they seem to NOT have any order in their shop, again if you were to read pm's you'd understand.

EDIT: Not to mention the rods/pistons I ordered on 3/16/06 that had a 4 week lead time are NOT HERE either. Just another example of their ways.

I think it's about time to send a note to BBB and Chamber of Commerce about MAM's ill reputation. Someone's got to do it!!

If I had known they don't ship out things for weeks even after they confirm they have shipped the orders, i wouldn't have done any business with them!!!

It was my understanding that they are blowing up and need more room for business. You are dealing with a shop that has a lot of customers and has a good reputation, welcome to the car world. Ask a guy with a Corvette how long his car was in the shop getting his motor rebuilt.

Anyway, I'd like to think I was neutral in all this so I am sorry you didn't seem to know what you were getting in to, but things like this usually take a few months.

Hey Dude, it's not about waiting i'm disappointed with, it's about them saying they've sent my order, but, in reality, they haven't.

This is purely a "Trust" issue here!

I see a serious difference between waiting for something you know is genuine, but, waiting for a lie, this is by any business standard, "WRONG" and should be reported so others don't fall into the same trap! Thanks

Well, good luck dealing with that fool. He blundered on a GROUP order several years ago on a simple product, easy-to-ship product, FRONT GRILL for the MP3. The entire group who joined in on the buy didn't get their STUFF because HIS supplier didn't follow through on the delivery and that the supplier just took the money and ran.... Patrick was the guy marketing the group buy and took everyone's money to give to his supplier, Patrick was 100% responsible for the group buy, yet he lost our money and had absolutely no way to get it back for us.... I don't think anyone received a refund for that group buy (I sure as hell did not!). I had thought he was a trust-worthy mofo, but I was really ticked off for losing $200+ for nothing.

If I ever see Patrick involved with any product for sale, I will stay the hell away from him. He obviously doesn't know the first thing about customer service ... even with his experience back with HIS lack of organization.

To think I was interested in their MSP hardpipes for $199, fock that ...pisses me off just thinking about how I was going to dish out another $200 to that fool. (fu)

The new number isn't working here in Utah yet.
As far as built blocks go, there are 4-5 at the machine shop right now, including one that has been there over 3 months, so you aren't the only one waiting. They are a very very highend machine shop, so when something more important comes in, what do you think happens?

gboromsp, you should have your manifold, it has already shipped out, i asked him myself, and he said its already gone out.

the throttle bodies are still in the process. The guy who had them initially ran off, and 65 racecoupe had to go over and pick up the unfinished throttle bodies. He still has thousands of MAMs money...

Ya, my mam experience thus far has really sucked. Ordered hardpipes 2 months ago. Haven't heard a peep about anything. Multiple pm's sent. I have a not so funny story in regards to my attempted rods and pistons purchase as well. Anybody contact there credit card company yet??

The card will credit you back if you dispute your charge. the vendor must supply on date they said they will, in my case, they've told me the goods are sent already, and should have reached me already too!

Have you contacted your credit card company yet?

Its just Beau is getting to many orders at once and he can only do so much himself. It really isn't Beau's fault just the ppl he has working for him. He needs to hire better ppl to replace those that are bringing his name down. But keep in mind that Beau does all of the work himself and it takes time. So don't go complaning about MAM but just the ppl telling you that it shipped and it hasn't and Beau will open his eyes.

Well i ordered the AEM wideband gauge/sensor a month ago and have heard nothing from them. How hard is it to package up something they dont make? I've sent a PM and email to him and have not heard a thing back. So it may take a long time to make quality products but it only takes 5 minutes to put a gauge made by someone else in a box.

They are probably far too busy at the new shop to waste time on here. They just moved to a much larger shop, I don't even know if they are done setting it up yet. Trust me, Beau is legit
