Where is MAM!??

Dana,

What seems to be a huge problem is NOT.
You being a Vendor/Admin this is a problem

:bs::rolleyes:

Oh, please. I'm doing my job as an Admin. I would have written the exact same post if SpeedCircuit was never founded. I praised you as much in my post as I pointed out your business problems. It's not like I'm in here trying to promote my own business. That was pretty low of you to post, I wouldn't have expected you to play that card.

Fact is, there is a lot of evidence with people having problems with your shipping and customer service, and there is zero evidence of my business having any interference whatsoever with my Admin position. And there never will be, because it will never be an issue.

Tony,

I was not the only one answering PM's. Shipping dates where given to some that where not from me. I had help with Pm's to try and get caught up. That did not work. So it's just me answering them again.

This is VERY good news. If you're going to have other people answering PMs make them clearly state who they are to reduce all this confusion.

I see a whole lot of miscommunication going around here and really hope to see it all resolved. I'm still in the market for a turbo kit down the road (fall) and I know I want MAM quality.

Only those who have a genuine dispute with MAM or can offer assistance in resolving outstanding issues...can post in this thread.

I DO NOT want to see any duplicate threads. This is will be resolved here!

Please note that changes will be made with how MAM and Beau do business in the community. These customer service issues have gone on for too long and it's not only damaging MAM's reputation...It's damaging the community and our precious aftermarket!!!

I would really appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation in this matter. Thank you!

I have a question if I may interject, How is the forum going to insure that MAM stay compliant with these new regulations once all the issues are so called resolve, MAM is not the problem. Their products are great however the individual customer service is the issue. I mean I understand the concerns of a small business to keep cost/over head low however, MAM is opperating outside of its efficency range.

Everyone knows it's NOT about the products...It's about the customer service...Which is EXACTLY what I said in the above post.

Stay tuned...We are working with MAM and another AV on a new business plan that will help to ensure you actually GET what you ordered!

In the meantime...Keep us updated on your unresolved orders guys ;)

Very good news. MAM has such awesome quality/stuff, with the customer service brought up to par they could be unstoppable! A ton of us are definitely staying tuned for updates about this.

Well, it's just another day, without recieving my order or hearing from MAM!!!

WOW, I'm gone for 2 days, and look at what got terribly out of hand.

Mazdaspeed6, i don't know why or how you got into the position you are in. Let me see if i have your story straight.

You bought a built motor from MAM a while back, it got to you and needed to be re-surfaced because the block had a deep groove in the top of it. Which you had to get remachined.

If that was the case, why didn't we see a problem thread about it then. Why did you not inform MAM of it and send it back for him to fix, which i know he would have done no questions asked. IF you had sent it back.

So you got it machined, installed the motor, and then had it blow due to the head gasket failing and letting water into the engine, thus creating all the rust in your engine?

You sent it back, and MAM told you that your warranty was no longer valid because you had the block remachined, and he can't guaruntee work done by another machine shop right? You then tell him that you never actually had the machine work done, the block had rust in it when you installed it, and you figured it would work itself out when you started it.

Then from what it sounds like, he was going to do a lot of the labor for free, and just ask that you pay for the parts, which you still owed him for the rebuild. Then you post in this thread asking where your motor is, and why its taking so long, when you haven't even finished paying him for the work.

I understand how it is to not have a car to drive because you're waiting on parts. Especially a motor. But when part of it is your fault, and you want to accept no responsibility, thats messed up.

Dude I accepted responsibility for my part are you serious. But I have been accused of leaving a motor in the rain or what not which is not true, Im not going to own up to anything thats not true. I dont have a problem with the wait But I have been lied to constantly about ship dates, payment methods and so forth its a fiasco. To say the least, I have pm's to prove the validity of what Im saying. Dude I was told my motor was in a box and on a truck 3 tuesdays ago. Honestly I do not see what you gain from chiming in on the situation. yea Im sorry that Im a b****, I have a problem and waited and exhausted all other methods sadly the only way I get any satisfaction is to come on this forum and tell my side of the story. Dude there are two sides to any story. Believe it or not I will admit that while I believe everything I have stated in my threads for the most part is valid and can be proven, there are somethings that people who do not know anything about the situation can take as sketchy or maybe thats not the entire truth, I gain nothing from getting on here and blasting people about my s***. YOu think I like getting on this forum up until now I just used these forums for install and Q and A not get on here and Blast people. Ever since my post on here, BEAU has made a concertive effort to keep in contact with me. He has called about everyday and Keep me updated on my MOTOR. LIke I have stated before, I really dont know if it was him as much as whoever else mislead me at MAM. From the Few times I talk to him he seems like a straight shooter. He probably thinks other wise about me nonetheless.. that is irrelavent. I care not what people do or say about me on these forums, I just want my parts that every time asaked I have paid for willingly, NO delay or questions asked. As a consumer I do not mind paying for anything, as long as it is item as described. However, When Im told something for Certain I expect that to be that and the end of it. IF anything arises within that alotted time, its up to the business *ie MAM* to notify its Patrons of delays or what not. Prime example up and Moving without so much as a notification on their website. Thats a TOOL thing to do. I sent them probably 100 emails during that time and to come on here and find out that none of them have ever been read, sucks.
Ironically, if all this goes through fine, and I get my motor. I will recommend my buddies to buy MAM stuff, but advise them of the DIsclaimer that it takes a long TIME. They say the best things in life are worth waiting for I believe it. BEAU is not a Duesche bag or TOOL however the shady business practices his company has been involved in recently makes his integrity questionable at best.

There was NO groove across the top of the motor.

How do I know this? Well, I helped take the motor apart at MAM. I am pretty sure that I am right because there aren't a lot of rusty engines that come back, you know.

Post the supposed pictures of the groove if you can.

Patrick you are trying to rehatch this issue, I just left a post that basically is putting this to rest and you want to start more s***. YOu are new to MAM chill I have spoke with your LEADER/Owner, Im not speaking with anyone but beau from now on at MAM cause he is the only person who has a clue on whats going on. The pictures were sent over a year ago to MAM I dont have them anymore. Im sure beau has those emails saved ask him.

I sent a PM to MAM last night concerning my midpipe order. I recieved my reply this morning and was told that it would be shipping some time mid week next week. I sent an email to them while I didn't know their email was down and never got a reply on that one but my PM made it thru and I got a very prompt answer. If customer service stays at this level then I see MAM making a nice comeback.

Danny,

As we have said in PM, midpipes started shipping and our last set of backorders will be sent out on Tuesday. During the move we where down for about a month. The company that manufactures the tappered flange for the midpipes was on backorder. Your midpipe will now ship UPS or DHL come Tuesday.

I am just trying ot get both sides of the story. If it had grooves on the top of the motor when you got it, those would be pictures i'd save to save my warranty if problems arose, which they have.

If you didn't have them machined out, then they would still be there right, and if they are, then they would still be there.

Did you or did you not have them machined out?

You may not have left your motor in the rain, but it did sit and rust did accrue. I'm just trying to see if you actually installed it with the rust already on the motor.

where does it say that the customer is wrong? In the instance of the TB yes I think they are. The others I dont know but my point of asking for a refund is still valid.

and my point of why nobody wants to support our cars is still valid, if I had to listen to people whine about this s*** all the time I would leave to

maybe vendor's a proff a shipping to coustomer's should send a proff a purshase and a tracking number to the Fs mod's and that will cover the vendor and the coustomer, also when thing's like this fall out of hand and the he said she said come's along they have something to fall back on.

i dont no just my thought.

Beau,

I've sent a couple emails and opened a ticket via your website but i see now that you might still be having problems with emails. I PMed you a while ago too for info about my order... can you PM me when you have a chance?

I'm waiting on a manifold, order #74 i think, paid for jan 31. My name's Eric Cholette ... let me know, thanks :)
