Where does the map sensor connect to???

Hi I have just brought a 2003 2.0ltr sport 323 and its running rough! Its very ulmpy at idle and seems to be missing untill about 2500rpm.

I have found a 1 inch hose hanging off the MAP sensor but cant find where its supposed to be connected too.

Any ideas greatly welcomed!

probably your air box or the UIM. But this is the 2010+ mazda3 forum...i believe there is a 323 forum where youu'll get better responses....look on the internet for pics of under the hood of a car like yours. See where that thing goes

You call it a protege. In England it is called a 323. To OP try searching for protege, you might get more/better hits.
