Where do you place the floor jack stands?

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I know where the 4 four points are for lifting the car using the scissor jack (I have a hydraulic jack for that). There isn't much room to place a jack stand next to it (or is there??). However if that part of the car is the solid part of the frame/body for lifting the car and it is being occupied by the scissor jack, where do I place the jack stand when I lower the car in order to work on the suspension?

I placed my floor jack on the Large Bolt (19mm?) that bolts the subframe to the chassis and jacked it from there. Before replacing the suspension, I placed a jackstand (with a cushion so it wouldnt bend them) at the pinch welds. For the rear, I cant really remember... I HAVE jacked it up from the rear tow loop, but only when my rear sway needed a quick tightening.

Generally speaking, I place the floor jack under the center of the front door, align the saddle with the pinch rail and lift. I place the jack stands under the pinch rails near the OE jacking points. I've never been a big fan of lifting the car from the front or back ends, but that's more a matter of personal preference than any valid mechanical reason.

^ I didnt see it anywhere in the owners manual when I looked. Please post where you see it!

It shows the location of lifting with the scissor jack (on the pinch welds), but not where to lift with a hydraulic jack, such as the OP has asked. This is necessary to know if you plan to place jack stands at the pinch welds as there is not enough room to jack it up and place the stand under the welds.

However, maybe I overlooked?!?

Am I the only person who plays it safe and uses pieces of wood for support? I've honestly never observed underneath, but if one comes in, I'll let you know ;)

To the OP...
