excellent... does it come w- the suction cup mounting thingy? and do u take it off when u park it in public places? is it leaving a nasty stain on your windshield? do u have to lick the suction cup every time? what does it taste like? a/s/l? kek

Just using the supplied mounting bracket, tape, and velcro. Blocks the lower 1/2 of the speedo, but I just have the speed shown on the DashHawk to compensate.

I'm using one of those sticky mats for cell phones. I trimmed it down a little and have the DH in pretty much the same place as AutoEuphoria; a bit more offset to the right though. It blocks about 20 MPH and lower on the speedo and the odometers. At one point, I had it slightly too far and was blocking the low gas light!!!! The sticky pad does a great job holding it in place and doesn't require anything permanent.

Pretty much the same location as AutoEuphoria. The angle I have set my steering wheel at makes it very simple to mount it with a strip of shelf liner and let it sit low against the gauges. It isn't strapped down, but it doesn't move at all.

i made my own bracket out of some left over aluminum and added a suction cup to it. ileave it there all the time no mess i just wipe it down with no streaks every now and then.

I borrowed one for a couple weeks from a buddy, I mounted it myslef between the side vent on the dash and the gauge bubble. I put two way tape on the side near the defrost vent and let the other side rest. It was perfect. Was able to hide the cable along the door jam trim. It neve moved and was in perfect view all the time.

CWPspeed3, take a pic and post it up here.

Maybe it's my poor eye sight, that red on black numbers causes alot of problems for me. I can't see it properly at a glance, I have to almost focus for a couple seconds because the contrast is so light.

Here's another pic

Autoeuphoria,
You throw a CEL?

Nope, the car wasn't running when I took those pictures...in the first pic, it had been heat soaking in the hot garage after a long trip (hence the 138F intake temps)

thanks for the replies guys... i like the one on top of the airbag sticker, cuz its non intrusive, but its also not in line of sight

ill probably mount mine the same as most... on top of the steering column, even if it blocks the odo and fuel gauge

When I borrowed one for a few days, I mounted it kinda countersunk, in that panel between the steering wheel and the gauges, and off to the right a little bit. So I could still see the speedo completely, and it just barely blocked my gauge gas slightly, that's all. If I ever buy a Dashhawk (not hesitating on one, just not sure if it's worth buying one now with zero support service anymore from a knowledgeable tech team, or wait for MSD's new fancy one to come out), I'll probably put it there again, then hide the wire behind the dash and have the wire just stick out near the OBDII port, instead of running the wire outside of the dash to the OBDII port.
