Im putting in a new Amp and sub in my MP3. I found what looks like a good spot to run the power cable from the battery through the firewall and to the amp. I was just wondering if there where and sugestions out there or what you others have done for this. thanks.

BTW for those of you who want to know, the amp is a Rockford 350s POWER amp. and the Sub is an Infinity perfect 12" should be a smokin' combo :)

check out the how to section, the thread on a amp wiring kit. it even has pictures of where to go thru.

I installed my amp under the Fromt Passenger seat. Since it is the summer on the MP5 there is an aircondition port that blows under the front seats for the back passengers. So that keeps things nice and cool....

As for running the power cable and ground cable. I ran the power though the Firewall by a large cluster of Wires in behind the glove box. I then ran it through the center console. I secured the Ground to the Passenger seat belt harness. Big bolt on the bottom of the seat belt.

hope this gives you some ideas......

Being that I run 1/0 cable I didn't feel like running cable across the engine bay. There is a huge factory grommet in the fire wall 6" to the right of the master cylinder and about 4" down it oval ans sticks out about and 1".
