Where are they???

Saw 2 on Saturday while driving to SF car show, a red one and a silver one. Becoming more common.

I haven't seen another since I purchased mine on 11/1. Before then I'd only seen 2 on the road. In comparison, I have seen at least 20 new Escapes.

I went from not seeing any others to 4 other white ones just since last Wednesday.

ive only seen a couple new escapes, and they sell in higher volume.

come to think of it, i think ive seen more cx-5s than new escapes

Saw a red Touring in Santa Clara on El Camino Real on Monday, a bit dirty. Still see far more new Escapes everyday.

here in winnipeg too i see cx5 very seldom, but dealer says they are selling 5 units everyday.

All supply and demand folks
Demand for both Escape and CX-5 is relatively high, but CX-5 is less in supply due to the size of Mazda and also they have to ship all the way from Japan, while Escape's they can just come out of the factory and onto a truck towards other U.S. cities or Canada

Yes, we are familiar with simple supply and demand concept.

And even as CX-5 (built in 1 factory for world) approaches normal dealership inventory levels recently, the Escape will continue to outsell CX-5 by 4 times in US/Canadian market. And Escapes will continue to be spotted more frequently.

Our dealers in OKC have a pretty large selection of Touring and GT models on the lots. I was about ready to buy, but I'm going to hold out for the 2.5L.

Saw 1 white Touring yesterday near San Jose airport and 1 blue Touring today in Santa Clara, CA...

Saw a GT (dark gray) on 101 freeway near San Jose airport today, new with no dealer paper plates.

I saw 2 yesterday at a Sprouts grocery store in Frisco, TX (one was sky blue and the other was a GT in Zeal red). The day before I saw a white touring at a Best Buy also in Frisco, TX.

Saw 2 in one day (a Touring and a GT), somewhat rare occurrence.

I noticed it's easy to spot Touring versus GT's at a glance due to wheels.
