Where are the "speed techs"?

I brought my car into morries to have them check out my turbo and reflash my ECU for the Fuel Pump. Anyways, I was concerned about the black carbon build-up on my tailpipe so I thought it might be the turbo. The tech's reply was "Mazda says its normal". Well, yeah, its normal if I have bad seals in my turbo you idiot! Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you know where some good speed techs are that I can bring my car to.

It's totally normal, all the MSPs and MS3's have black sooty exhaust. That's because mazda tunes them so freakin rich. Just the way it is. Look at any MS3 exhaust dude, they are ALL dirty.

LaserBlue - Thanks, that is reassuring. I just wanted them to look at my internals because I'm going to be installing my TBE soon and I didn't want to have faulty internal turbo seals before the installation...

Go to Jordan at Luther in Brookdale. He is a good friend and knows his stuff on mazdaspeed vehicles. Other techs across the country call him personally for questions on speed vehicles. I'm not saying he can hook you up but he can definitely give you the correct answer for why your car does that. If youre interested I can ask him about bringing it in before you contact them. But like laser siad its probably because your running rich. Same for me in my msp. the tailpipe has been a lot cleaner since i installed my AFC though
