Where are our military guys at??

I am also stationed at Charleston been here for alittle over a year. I am a Jet Engine Mechanic in the Air Force

Okinawa is not bad when you live Off Base, oh and when you travel to mainland Japan/Korea/Australia/Hong Kong once in a while.

I was in the US Army from 95 to 99 as a tanker stationed in Germany. Oh how I wish I had my Speed 3 when I was in Germany (autobahn). Did some time in Bosnia but thankfully never went to the desert.

Just chiming in from Fort Lewis via Iraq. God, i hate this place... can't wait to drive my new "beast" (affectionally called that by my wife who drove it home from the dealership)...

I'm on RAP (recruiter's assistance) right now, but will be in Charleston, SC soon enough as a C-17 Loadmaster...I'm hoping when I go on my first deployment in April, I'll have saved enough to put towards a down payment on a Speed 3, assuming they're still available by the time I get back.

Should be available. If not, theres always private sales. Or you can just steale one. :D LoL

Navy here. Just moved to Corpus Christi, TX. I'm a student naval aviator about to start primary flight school. Soon I'll be able to jump out of my turboprop training aircraft right into my turbocharged MS3. :)

Wow missed this thread...USAF TRobertson and moonpie...Nah Im really looking forward to it no matter how bad it is its better than wasting away doing very little but making it by here in Fl. I need some excitement or at least some change. Plus I have always wanted to serve my country even if it is only for 4 years (thats if i hate it and dont re enlist). I love aircraft and such so I'm going to the USAF to work on them hopefully gonna get 2a2x3(i believe is what it is called) or some other maintenance job since I at least like to work on things (i work on cars now for school/job). Anyways I hope its gonna be fun or at least ok, it seems a lot of guys hate it, but I at least want the experience.

Edit: I sure do hope that I will be able to afford me a nice speed3 after i save up for a while for it. Living on base and all should help with getting money saved up but i dont plan on being able to afford one for at least a year...hopping to put down around 8k to keep the payments lower.

US Navy here. 17 yrs down, currently pushin' boots @ Great Lakes. I just got done with some PT with my current division. They sure do arrive out of shape. This 37 yo smoker can outrun 95% of them. Benn a Carrier guy for many years (IKE, Vinson, bad Kitty, etc....). San Diego, Pt. Mugu, Norfolk, CT for shore duty. Don't have an MS3, but this is a great thread so I figured I would post.

Those of you that are overseas now STAY SAFE, and come home in one piece.

One last thing. Loved that Army/Navy game. I believe thats 8 in a row!
