Sure
That straight road runs for miles and miles and miles then suddenly WHOOSH down into the canyon you go. If you were to run that road at night and not know where you were going you would be met with a 90 degree right hand turn with a sign sticking out of it that says danger 10% grade.
Then if you were going fast enough you would need fresh underpants or a coffin depending on your speed.
We have lots of canyons, forests, swamps, hill country, desert, and beaches.
I was up in North West Texas this (I think) was East of Palo Dura canyon. There are some smaller cayons up there scattered about.
