Wheel/Tire width

2 questions: (1) what width can these stock wheels accept without affecting driveability, etc? I have heard that even a 225 rubs sometimes? (2) What width wheels can these cars take without much modification? I see some guys using rx8 wheels, which I think are wider, but not sure how that works out. I will be needing tires soon, and will prob stick with stock wheels, but want to do whatever I can to increase traction, without loss of everyday comfort. Thanks

My 225/45s on RX-8s work well. The tiny extra "meat" improves the ride a bit. RX-8 wheels are tucked in (-50mm offset vs. -52.5mm) which is "offset" by the increased width.
