Hey guys,

My name is Paul and i am a new member of NEPOC. I am overseas working right now in Asia but plan to be back and fairly active in this when i return this winter. I do have a problem though. I bought a set of rims from someone on here and two of them need to be repaired for some minor and severe curb rash (i bought them like this so i was aware beforehand). Does anyone know of a place that can do this type of repair to them? The rims still make a good bead, and the damage is cosmetic, but i just want them fixed before i come back. Any input is much appreciated.

Anyways, thanks a lot and look forward to meeting up with everyone later. Possibly a portsouth cruise in the summer with a pub crawl at night??? I have a 4 BR house on the harbour so accomidations should be all set, heh.

Welcome to the club, yesiown. Sounds like you are the man to head up that cruise. Am I guessing your Skyline will stay in Hong Kong while you are over here?

mark(bazooka joe) will likely post shortly, he had a couple rims repaired and i think he was very pleased with the results

well, i am currently breaking it down right now and am gonna try and get it there as a track car. I should be able to, but my ultimate goal is to get it on the road. Once it's there, i think i can scheme up something that will work. I plan on shipping the engine/tranny/etc. there through a fake sale to my friend which should be easy. The shell, however will have to go through canada, and i have to import it from Vancouver (for some reason its easier from there). When i get back in December, i am going to fly to Vancouver and it should be waiting for me there, I have all the importation paperwork, so it should just be a matter of paying an assload of money and trailering it across country.

I'll keep you updated though, and i def. think it is possible to get together over there, which is what i wanted in the first place.

Just a note, if it's just not round, don't bother. I got one fixed and it went right back to the same shape it was before the repair. If it's cosmetic, get it fixed...
