Wheel Noise

I bought a used 2002 P5 recently, and the previous owner told me that the front right wheel noise (kind of like vmp vmp vmp) is because the front right rim is warped, known because it is unbalanceable and the mechanic can see it.

So I had the rim replaced today, and a lot of the noise is gone, but some is still there. It's pretty noticeable when I turn right at high speeds, and at highway speeds it is just barely noticeable. Left turns don't seem to do anything.

The shop I took it to said the two front struts are done, because both are leaking oil. Can this be the cause of the wheel noise? If it is, how come there isn't wheel noise when I turn left at high speed? I really hope it isn't wheel bearing issues, since that plus replacement struts = big hole in my pocket.

Thanks!
