Hi, does anybody know the correct size of the lug nuts for the 19 inch wheels? I'd like to purchase wheel locks for some protection. I tried the locks from my old CRV but they didn't fit. Also, is any particular wheel lock better than another? I read good reviews on the name brand Gorilla but really know nothing about them. Thanks for any replies!

If someone wants your wheels that bad, there are easy ways around wheel locks. I bet you could spray Freon around the wheel lock for about 20 seconds and then whack it with a hammer and it would break right off. Thieves use Freon for many purposes.

Or just tap a socket onto it, attach wrench, turn and it's off. See youtube. It's so easy to do I wouldn't waste the money or nuisance of having the lock. The wheel thieves around here tend to be market driven professionals. Truck wheels that can be interchanged with several models seem to be popular and they'll hit several vehicles in a night. Not so sure cx-5 wheels are in demand enough to be worth it.

Wheel locks are like car alarms; a good idea in theory because it might deter someone. In practice they don't really do much but cause nuisance to the owner

My CX came with wheel locks already installed, but if it hadn't, to me they're cheap enough for me to justify the expense if it fends off the "kids" who will grab stuff because they can. True professional thieves can take just about anything if they really want it, but I don't think wheel locks are intended to stop those folks...just the "casual" thieves.

I saw Skorpio already posted the size, but you can likely get the locks right off the mazda accessories website, or at least get the sizing from there.

'f'n hate thieves by the way...
