wheel hop???

The amount of wheel hop Im getting when launching is anoing the s*** out of me. Im not even launching at a super high rpm, so I can only imagina what it will be like at the track. I know that replacing stock engine mounts with the AWR mounts will reduce some wheel hop but are you guys using anyother upgrades to help eliminate wheel hop. Maybe at a lower price then the mounts???

AWR Front and Rear motor mounts will rid of virtually all wheel hop......lowering your car will put the icing on the cake


I have both.....and havent seen wheel hop since.

already have eibach 1.5 lowering springs waiting to go on. Maybe Ill order the mounts next and get some super sticky tires to finish it all off. What RPM do you guys launch at when racing??

At the track i took it to 3000-3500 rpms.....but i also have a dumped exhaust, so my turbo spools much faster than full exhaust msp's.

If i took it anywhere past that and dumped the clutch....it would just redline before i even got any momentum (boom07) Feathering the clutch is a beech at the track.

the only wheel hop i have is when it's raining. i still like to be first off the light.(first)

DO the inserts have virtually the same effect without having to replace the whole mount? I know the installation is way easier and the price is lke 1/3 of the mounts. Any one have just the inserts???
