38 offset? Man, I'm not sure it's going to work.
The closest I've seen to that combo for a 6 driven on a road course are SSR Competitions (17x8 +48offset) with 245/40/17 Toyo T1-R's and that fitment required a full fender roll and a bit of negative camber in the rear. *cough* Crossbow *cough* Granted that was on a naturally aspirated 6 lowered on coilovers, but that should give you an idea of a baseline for fitment for the track.
