Wheel Alignment?

i have a general questions for my 2001 Mazda protege. I Have set of 215/35/18 rims with low profile Hercules tires. The problem im experiencing is my car vibrating at high speed, and over turning when making right turns. I just recently took my car to Canadian Tire and the guy there said there is no point doing an alignment on my low profile tires because he wont get a accurate reading....can there possible be another problem.....he did say my tires are balance, but he just visually inspected it....think he was just trying to make me save $$$

that dude is an idiot. he just didn't wanna do the work. find a place with a laser alignment rack. and just because a wheel has weights on it doesn't mean its balanced.

first, raise the car off the ground. loosen your lugnuts and make sure the wheels are seated properly and you have the proper hubcentric adapter rings. then tighten the lug nuts in a proper star pattern. if that doesn't work then get your wheels balanced again. one or more of your wheels may be bent, that would cause vibration. also check your wheel bearings for excessive play.

Balanced tires on bent rims = vibration

Even when the tires are "balanced", riding on bent rims will definitely give you vibration: the tires are then not quite round. I have experienced this with all 4 of my Protege 16 inch aluminum rims. They are all out of round to some degree, and do give me vibration. I am now debating whether to replace the wost ones one at a time, or just switch to steel rims all around.

Good advice. My guess is that one or more wheels/tires is:
a) out of balance
b) torqued incorrectly or
c) missing hubcentric rings
