Whats your favorite wax...?

A shill is an associate of a person selling goods or services or a political group, who pretends no association to the seller/group and assumes the air of an enthusiastic customer.

Ignorant is a perfect term to describe you. You are ignoring the fact that there are products out there, including ones you claim to have used, that perform to the same level and better than zaino. You can choose to remember it or not. Comments like "wax is dead" puts you in the category of ignorant.

I responded to the OP with a simple opinion of waxes I thought would be good for his situation. Your apporach on the other hand is very shill like, as well as fanboyish. You obviously don't know enough about products on the market or you wouldn't make coments like you have. I'm sorry you are taking offense but I'm stating fact.

Your opinion of me because I am adamant about a proper product for the situation (the O.P.'s situation) is that I am ignorant and a Shill. This alone pretty much writes off anything you have to say to me for the foreseeable future.

I've contributed a lot to the community, and I intend to help those that want it (and lean on those same people sometime for advice in things I'm not skilled at.) I'll tell you this now...I'm NOT unskilled at detailing. Most people who see my cars or bikes are stunned and have a compliment for me, or at least a thumbs-up. Even here in "thumbs up their asses" Vegas.

But...you go ahead an alienate a helpful member...that's OK by me.

I used to be a Pinnacle *****, but the upkeep on black is too much work with carnuba. I still have a few jars of Souverin which is world class but i just dont have the energy anymore to keep it up. Ive tried blackfire and wasnt to impressed with the results, which has made me go back to Zaino. Whats new on the Pinnacle front these days?

No need to if the claywork was done right.

Actually this is a smart thing to do to ensure there are no particles left over. Whether you feel a single wipe and buff approach is adequate, it sure makes window panel cleanup a breeze by rewashing the vehicle and starting from a clean work surface. This is especially important when you plan to slap Merzerna or any other scratch/swirl remover on the car, than proceed with final polish or some 3M polish before waxing.

Im an ace at making black pop with years of experience behind me, various Porter Cables, foam pads and $1000's in product over the years. Its always better to be safe, than sorry and you should know that. its like going back and fourth with people having a grit guard in their bucket or Chennille washmits vs MF ones, Vs wool

You can write off whatever you like. But making blanket statements like you have still makes you ignorant.
You really should try to do some research and educate yourself. I can't get through to you. You just get defensive and angry too easy.

Souv. is the only pinnacle product I keep in stock. It is one of the best carnaubas on the market still. Looks great on the dark colors.

Like I stated if it is done right there is really no reason to rewash.
