it is a hot rod... prob see's the street for 5 min once a week. Im sure everything will be chrome tastic before its done.

oh and wheres the RAD?
Rad is in the trunk.

Thats weird the cam would have to be a totally different grind and the intake valves would be the exhaust valves which are smaller. They would have to make a special head which still most likely wouldnt be as efficiant unless they really make the room to open up the openings for the new intakes.

I don't think they had to alter the heads much, exept the valve size, but they definatly had to go with custom cam.

it's not really a big deal to do this, people just don't bacause you don't get the same flow.
it's not much harder then doing a set of boat motors, they have to be counter screw(opposide directions)

yup, heads look 180

Nope. Heads are on the correct way.

Valve size prolly wouldn't be too difficult to mess with, there are so many sizes available for chevy heads. Custom ground chevy cam is prolly damn cheap.

You have a pic of the heads? I never seen a boat motor that way either but I dont look at many boat motors.

no,the boat motor look the same as any other motor,it just spins in reverse direction, the intake is still on top,and exhaust is still on the outside.

these heads are not put on in 180,you can tell because the spark plugs are still on the bottom of the head and not in the valley like they would be if it were 180.

all they did to this engine is the bolt on s*** you see,and had a cam custom made.

possibly a crank as well

Of course the heads arent flipped 180 thats impossible on a small block well i guess it is if you put them on the other side lol.

Custom cam is all you need. No reason for a custom crank. The only thing that is different on a reverse running boat motor is the camshaft. Eveything else is the same. And this is nothing like a reverse running boat motor...

edit, sorry, the reverse running boat motors have to have cam gears, no chain.

No doubt (after some thought); the water jackets between the head and block wouldn't match if it was reversed.
