Umm, yeah. This thread scared the crap out of me. I use mine when my girl isn't in the car (she doesn't like it), but after reading all these horror stories I put a piece of black plastic in the crevice to block me from using it.

LoL... That is hilarious...

Yeah, I noticed when you use the sport shift, the shifting is a bit harsher...

I guess if you aren't driving a Ferrari with paddle shifting, your car isn't meant to be "SPORT SHIFTED."

Dont' worry about it. Even Acura Tl's and Cl's have problems with the sport shift.

Guess i'll put a black plastic too in that crvice so i dont' use it. Where'd you get that black piece btw? I think i want to use it too.
