I dunno if this is in the right area but what is this? On the first pic is at the bottom of the new radiator, what are those gold things for? My stock radiator didnt have them on it.

The 2nd and 3rd pics are something right above the tranny, WHat is that, is it supposed to be there like that?

The pipe holes on the radiator are for automatic transmission fluid. You have a manual correct? You dont use them.

I wouldn't worry about them. Your coolant is not gonna come pouring out, it's a seperate chamber for ATX fluid.

clint has completly removed and replaced his engine and interior, probably on more then one ocassion. I would trust him.

are you absolutely sure??? you decided to fix your car... what i would suggest is you get the service manual and you start working from there. It will tell you all this info your asking.

Ill get one eventualy I just want to See if someone on here knows what it is from experience.

The 'thing' in the 2nd & 3rd pic is a vibration dampener / balancer / thingie (not sure of the correct term) that's attached to that motor mount (well actually tranny mount). It looks like it got knocked out of place a bit, that's all.

Anyways,
Clint was right (of course)
As you can see in this diagram taken from the service manual, the two peices you described are infact oil coolers for the atx transmission vehicles, (number 6 in the picture)

The part jersey was describing is number 2, the cooling fan motor connector

sorry to revive this, but is it bad if we remove it? I took it off about a month ago..... could it cause long term damage?

Hmmm, wonder if you could use that auto-tranny cooler portion as an engine oil cooler
