getting rid of my msp. 03 spicy orange with 83xxx kms. all stock save for a k&n air filter in the stock box. a couple rock chips, one small rip in driver's seat. turbo was rebuilt at 60xxx kms along with the updated piping, and ecu flash. love the car, but the luster has worn off, and the hesitation drives me f*#king nuts. it's a daily driver, so i have NO intention of spending a couple grand on chips and intakes and exhaust just to get in to run smoothly.

what do you guys think? oh yeah, canadian prices.

side note: how many spicy orange 03's are there in canada?

thats a good number of miles, it is orange, but 14-15 is still high.

just going on what ive seen around on ebay and other listings, you are more likely to get 9k as a trade or 11ish for a private sale if your lucky.

that's what i've been seeing. i have 15K on the window, but have had little to no interest. just wondering if i'm asking too much.

Now I don't know the currency exchange rate at the moment but I paid just under 16K for mine brand new from the dealership here in the US back in 2004. And my Virginia property taxes that are due today say my car is worth 11K. I don't believe the property tax is effected by mileage because I don't see how they would know but I only have a lil over 30K on my car.

wow, under 16k new? you couldn't buy a base protege for that here in canada. my car was listed at about 27, 28 grand when new i believe.

Wow..27 or 28 grand!?! The MSP's down here was listed at 21K brand new but I worked a really good deal. They were trying to make room for the next year models and offered it to me for 19K which I was about to agree to but then my dad saw an ad in the paper for the dealership across town which was offering some rebate that I wouldn't have qualified for. But once I told the sales person that I was going to the other dealership to buy it for the amount in the ad I heard those magic words, "Let me go talk to my manager..." A couple minutes later I was doing paper work for my brand new MSP for 15,989. So if the MSP brand new was that much up there what does an Evo or STI go for, around 40K?

yea im considering selling mine too. but i dont know what to ask for it. almost 70k and bone stock. few chips, driver seat rip in bolster but other than that just replaced the wga. i paid 16 for it id like to atleast break even or make a grand to put down. im only leaving it behind because im goin on a financial diet to save for a house, and working on a kit car. any takers?
