So I have some ideas floating around from my last few vehicles, things I'd like to see offered for the MSP, particularly CF or FG Hoods.

Now, if I can get an accurate representation to illustrate in a few days, like a photoshop, what does it actually take to get something into R&D and potentially made into an actual part? or limited production run part?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Alot of companies will fabricate custom carbon fiber/fiberglass pieces if you inquire... however unless there is enough interest such as a group buy they may refuse or in turn it will be uber expensive. I'll be interested in what you propose.

can anyone get me a hi res pic of a stock MSP hood? my digi cam is on the fritz....a few different angles if possible?

I'm up for some photoshop work :-D

This is modified of my previous car ( a 2nd gen probe)...a hood i owned a the prototype of from Kaotic Kustomz

Refered to as the Razor Hood (sorry its not perfect coloring, but you get the idea). I'm also going to mock up a CF version, and this is not my car, so thanks to whose picture this is ;)

i would like to see a hood with cleaner vents for us guys that want to keep the engine bay cool but do not like big noticible scoops and noticible vents....keep it as stock as possible looking

i was thinking of maybe 2 small vents similar style like your razor hood but smaller and one on each side of the hood...alost like this DGM CF Hood

or something along the lines of the side vents the subaru's have...

but good luck with your "mission", it would be very nice to see you make it

I can't access your first link Karna, got another one for me to look at?

How about along these lines, or is this too noticeable?

i think those hoods ^ are sick. sleek and not too flashy, but cool AND functional. a great option for a VCAI (Very Cold Air Intake lol);;
