What's better than a Miata? HUMMMM that's easy. A GXP Sulstice!

I don't like these, but once the Mazdaspeed Miata comes out... it won't even be worth arguing about. (glare)

I thought about that. But come on. There is no way mazda will put out a miata that is faster or has more power then the flag ship RX8. So before the MSM comes out the MSRX8 has to come first. That or they'll drop the RX8. And with what the just happend with that video and replacing the engines that might not be to for off.

nahhh, one of each color for each days of the week(lol2) (yippy) (cryhard)

Well sure, that would be best, but two Miatas would be better than one Miata.

As for the Solstice, no interest whatsoever. The trunk is a sick joke, even among roadsters. I had a Miata, it was nice to be able to take a road trip in it, and while the trunk on a Miata is small, even a 1st gen's is huge compared to the one on a Solstice/Sky. Sure, I'd drive one if you gave it to me, and I wasn't allowed to sell it and get something else, but I wouldn't pay $500 for a Solstice or Sky.

you guys know what's better than a miata? a murcielago. i dunno why'd they ever compare the two cars. i saw some kind of comparison between the two and i fell out of my chair laughing.

While there isn't that much room in the trunk of the Sulstice, there is enough room to put a bag with a few days of close. No you can't put your clubs in the back but who cares. Face it, the MX5 is no better then the Solstice. And when GXP comes out in a few more weeks the MX5 if ******.

Uh, did y'all read the original post? It is about the Lotus 7 replica that Keith Tanner built. Keith is a well known Miataphile who has written a couple of good books (Performance Projects for the Miata for one), works for Flyin Miata, and is an all around good guy (has even answered an e-mail I sent him with a question about my Miata). The 7 is a great kit car and since it weighs practically nothing, a blast to drive. With Keith's skills and knowledge of the Miata, his 7 is no doubt a wonderful combination of reliability and performance that will do well on the track.

I love my miata, but it needs some serious suspension mods out of the box to make it what it really should have been in the fisrst place. To be honest, my wifes Mazda 3 hatch seems more fun to drive at this point (We've been trading cars more often than usual ).
