What type of TurboXS MBC is this?

Hey, I got this free from work. It came with my friend's UTEC, and he didn't need it. So...what type of TurboXS unit is this? I was looking at their website and it didn't look like anything on there. Does this not seem like a good design, or is this ok? It's free, but if it's not going to work well I'll just buy a joe p. Thanks.

yea, mine does not look like that at all. should be 2 nipples and a controller on top.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Maybe you're supposed to use a T and run some vac line to that nipple? I'll probably end up just ordering a joe p.

Running a T-fitting would do absolutely nothing.A boost controller needs an input nipple as well as an output.Something is definately missing from that.It is model specific somehow or something is missing for sure.

hahah oh yeah, duh. i don't know wtf i was thinking. anyway, yeah i dunno. it came with a utec for a wrx, so i dunno...

its a bleed type MBC you put a tee in your wastegate line and run a short hose to it... works great... i use a little newer version of the same thing.

i got a dual stage turbo xs and it has 2 fittings.......i haven't seen that one before
