What to do?

:
06 mazda 6
Now if you were to trade in a 06 mazda6s what would trade it for?
I had it in the shop 8 to many times for the same thing and it never gets fixed right so I am done with it.

Any more information? Price range? Willing to assume an auto note? Any other requirements like fwd/rwd/awd?

The mazda is fwd with sports package auto/man trans power windown and all that good stuff. I don't know how much I will get for a trade in so I am not sure.

A Nissan GTR or a Corvette Z06. Or maybe even an Audi R8!!!

Ha ha sorry man, just playing with you, but I think you need to give at least some parameters before any one can give you some advice. Are you looking for a sedan, coupe, new, used, expensive, around the 6 price range? Those would be some good starters.

Around the 6 price range 4 door sporty looking.
To tell you the truth I am thinking of maybe a 4 door honda civic si.

4 door and sporty??? Not sure about the price range??? Sounds like you're do for a new BMW 335xi!

Hey man, you're close to the border. Just go pick one up for a test drive and get into Mexico. You'll be fine.

Cobalt SS sedan would be the best bang for your buck. Interior quality isn't 'Japanese' but it'll stand up and slap an Si across the face.

A very nice car (if you have no problem with the new nose) is a Mazda 3 S.

Don't know what your budget is, but a new WRX performs 9/10 as well as last year's STi.

There isn't much out there that could be considered a comparable replacement for the beloved last-gen 6. Its size and performance was, and is now ever more unique. There's nothing out there QUITE that size anymore.

I would go with the new WRX myself in that case. Not quite STI price range, new gets you warranty, and that thing is QUICK!

The Cobalt SS is to this 'mini-muscle car' era as the AMC's were to the muscle car era of the late 60's and early 70's. It's awkward, looks hideous, and just somehow doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the crowd.

Within the price range of your 6 you're most likely not going to find a 4-door SI. Those are around 18-20k from what I've seen recently.

I would vote for either a Speed 6 (I'm biased) or a new/used WRX. The new ones are awesome (if you can get over the looks) and the old ones aren't quite as fast out of the box, but I think they look a lot better.

You could go with a Cobalt SS.....but, I'd be skeptical buying a product from a company declaring BK (that's just me, though).

Screw that. The new Turbocharged Cobalts are FAST AS HELL. I test drove one shortly after getting my car and was like seconds away from trading my car in. (Just didn't wanna deal with owning a coupe, this was before the sedans came out) Not to mention the fact that they set a record at Nurburgring.

Also OP if you bought your car new why have you not looked into Lemon Laws in your state...I think it may even apply to Used Cars in certain States. Something to look into.

I guess I will just look around town and see what my options are before I make a move. I wonder what they have good at mazda here in town, I'll have to check that out on sunday.

Go to Carmax and get an offer. They'll be a bit of a lowball, but it will get things rolling. It's no pressure, and you'lll be in and out in 30 mins.
