Once again, you are making no sense at all...slap harder???and I have a feeling you have a Protege because that is what your parents bought you, if you had any choice you would have gotten what YOU wanted...

So pretty much you got a Protege5 because your parents wouldn't buy you what you wanted and you settled on it...correct...and if you had any clue on the P5 you wouldn't of made this thread...lol...how do you know it is cheaper...actually, the parts for this car are a lot more expensive than the same parts for nearly any other car in its price range...

i mean like cheaper mods and i wanted i got to pick my car and i chose this one because it fit me best and sorry that i don't now everything about a car that is not made that long and only in 02 and 03 and sorry but isn't this the reason y we have a forum to ask what we can get from people that know what they are talking about and save us money on ******* up and byeing parts that we don't need isn't this what is for
Wow, I just went through this whole thread and Im a little confused to be honest. Not to sound like a dick to the OP, but you came to this forum to ask questions and get answers. Your questions and comments are hard to read through because of what Scratch has already pointed out. But when people do offer you advice on the parts to get you seem to disregard what they are saying and go from an expensive parts to cheap ass ebay one. Some of the people who have been trying to help you have been people who have tried and tested many parts on their cars and they are offering the feedback from personal experience.
Suspension wise, I currently have a GT Spec front strut bar, 4 pt ladder brace, lower tie bar, rear reinforcement panel, v-braces, and a full p5 trunk cage. Too be honest with you, after spending a lot of money on all these parts, the only one that made much of a different was the front strut bar and the rear strut bar(part of the trunk cage setup).
Even though I know that these parts dont seem to make much difference to handling, I still bought the rear trailing links. Why? Because they are discontinued and I wanted to have all matching parts.
With all that being said. Get a good front strut bar. But, if you do that the ass end of your car is going feel like it is rolingl more out of corners. So...(like how I used the "..." haha) go with one of the rear sway bars that people have been recommending to help balance the car out. Explain to your parents you need something for the front and the rear so you can "slap harder" (assuming you were talking about corning) than other people and not run the risk of wrapping your car around a pole like you would have in a WRX, the car you should have had them buy.

Ok first of all I take in everyonee point if view and then reply back asking what is the best one because everyone has a different point of view ok I like audio and he was just saying its not a very good way to spend ur money

You are obviously not reading well, because you keep posting up the ebay bars and things that make NO difference...
Show me where I mentioned this, I guarantee you won't find it...
Once again, you don't have a WRX because your mommy and daddy wouldn't buy it...not to mention YOU are the one in control of the gas pedal, so that is no excuse...
Not sure where you live or if my town is different, but we have a lot of Protege5's here...mine was the only modded one...

Ok I'm gona sum this up in the nicest most truthfull way possible. Kids parents buy him a p5 he gets it doesn't think it handles or goes fast enough and doesn't know how to get what he wants out of it. He comes here gets a few answers gives a few dumb answers also. But he's from california for one and his parents probly have money so he's never had much or any experience with cars. Is it dumb to buy a kid a car and not make them work for it and buy it themselves? Yes would anybody complain if their parents bought them a car?no. But there is no point in coming on here and flaming him for not knowing anything. I'm not taking up for the op or puttin him down just stating a few facts. If you don't like his questions or responses then simply don't post in his thread. At the end of the day its still a slow ass econo car and if you make it fast then you have more money then sense. Its a forum people who ******* cares what other people say or do other than the know it alls that act like everyone should know as much as them and think the same way they do

I guess I am a know it all then...lol...I think that there was TONS of advice given, he just planned to keep ignoring it and then got upset when he was called out on it...
Ok thank u god I am just asking questions about my car and I was wondering what people think that's all but this guy keeps on saying I am a dum ass but my rents helped me by my car an I have don all the mods to it my self and payed for all the mods ok I am posting the e bay stuff cause one of the guys said it doesn't matter what u get it will help and then other people say no so sorry that I don't now every ******* thing about my car ok s*** thank u kinda standing up for me man cause I just ask quesions to learn if u guys now what the Socratic method is u quesion everything that's what I am doing so I can learn about my car ok that's the only reason y I joined the forum cause u guys can give me good tips so give me a break please I am not trying to be a dick or anything just want to learn about my car and the potenshal

I wasn't refering to anybody in this thread as a know it all just some others I've seen. Yes there was a lot of advice given that he ignored why? Who knows maybe he just wanted to know what his options were. The point of everyone throwing out their experiences and suggestions is so you can to sift thru the info and make decisions on what you want to do based on what the car's purpose will be and how much money you have to throw at it. I don't care how you spell or punctuate or how you got the car & have no vested interest in what you wanna do with it. I'm only gonna tell you what I've experienced or read about from what other people have done regarding the topic of the thread. The best option will be the one you decide on for your own situation.
