What swaybars should I get for a Mazda protege 5 ??

Dam dude I have never don anything like that the mist I have don is help put on my friends lower and this is the sway I am going to get http://protegegarage.com/322-product-322.html and I found I found a realy nice strut bar for the front and I can't find a rear strut and I can't find a front seperate sway so ya
OK, one thing at a time............AWR is nice bar but those endlinks will need firewall grommets to keep them quiet.

I'm lowered 1.4 with Tokico Illuminas running the Progress 22mm rear sway using my original factory endlinks without any issues of any kind for 5 years now. Cheaper too. Not to many people even mess with the front sway because it generates understeer or oversteer condition, can't remember which. I haven't messed with that, still oem up front. Car is very balanced. As far as front strut tower braces go, there are several good ones and doubt there are any issues you have referenced about hinged or not that would make a difference on anything but a full blown track car. For a street car it's mostly just a decoration item when comparing the performance of oem vs. aftermarket IMO but I do have the GT Spec blue front stb and ladder bar up front.

Uhmm I like the how to thread and uhmm that rear strut bar is for an mx6 will that fit ?? Cause if it does hell ya iwill get that and does it matter what type of front strut I should get everyone says to to get one that's sold and has no henges or does it realy mater I just need a beter one then I have now
Yes, the mx-6 bar will fit perfectly. You do have to cut the interior panels on each side for the bracket to poke thru to attach the bar to. I am not aware of a solid bar for the rear of P5s and the only solid front stb for them I've ever had/seen was the CP Racing one that actually has 1 bar from strut to strut and also a bar that attaches to the firewall in 2 places. They don't make these anymore that I'm aware of, rare to none back in the day even. I had one but never even ended up using it because cruise control module would need to be relocated for clearance, sold it long time ago. Hmmm, looks to be a new version of the cp racing one but 275.00? I'd say you'll get the same performance out of GT Spec or similar one for street use for about half price. Just sayin. That one you linked to looks like it'll need cruise to be relocated or eliminated. Didn't read the whole description in the link but not much room between hood and top of motor for there to be much room for the cc to not have to be moved or ditched. I happen to like and use my cc but others have other ideas. Either way you'll need to be postin up pics when done tho. It's the law, lol.................

Btw isn't that the same front strut bar as stock? A strut bar for you really isn't gona do much taking turns hard and fast strut bars do almost nothing for these cars. You said you want no body roll well with my car which is racing beat front and rear sway bars tockico blues and racing beat springs (stock) I don't have any at all if there's any difference the p5 should handle better than a sedan. Anything other than those really won't do much for you unless your on a low speed course such as autox. Svae your money you already have the struts and springs which is your body roll a rear swaybar will make it handle great. The front sway bar won't help much if any at all I wouldn't waste my money on it. Now if you wana buy me a round trip tciket to cali and a couple nights in a hotel then I could show you how to do the front sway bar ;) I still wouldn't recomend you take on a task like that without the help of someone that knows what they're doing. No offense but struts are simple.

You seem to be into the whole tuner/street racing thing you should go with some motor mounts to eliminate your wheel hop.
 
That front bar is a downgrade...the ONLY upgrade is the CP, which you won't find or the AWR...those are the ONLY two that make a difference, and from users that have them, they say it is a HUGE difference...
 
so get the awr rear sway and front strut and don't **** with with the front sway or rear strut is what u guys are saying and man i wish i had the money to send u over here cause u seem like a cool guy and also school when ur a senior is a complete jock so ya and if u really replace the motor mounts really take away the ******* wheel hope cause its so dam bad and so ******* annoying and ya i am a tuner and thats what ll my friends like to do and i love to go fast and take turns and ya i am trying to same up for performance because i spent so much dam money on my system and i want to take turns and kinda go fast thats the only reason y and i want to get a separate battery and the hole thing
 
You see when I type I at least seperate everything with a "..."...It helps people follow what you are saying soooo much better...when it is all one sentence, most people don't want to read it...and I know you are not in class rght now, so no excuse...not to mention your grammer and spelling SUCKS...but yes, I would do AWR FSB if you have the $$$ for it along with the Progress or MSP rear although I believe the MSP rear is a lot more inexpensive....don't waste your money on the back bar from the MX6 and don't convert to the MSP front sway...if anything contact GT SPEC and get the lower trunk reinforcement bar...

If you have bad wheel hop you may already have a broken motor mount. When you get into performance parts for power that's when your gona spend real money. Just do us all a favor and don't rice it out. Get an exhaust do not get a fart can I will hitch hike there and shove a potato in it. No gay vinyls and no neons and no rims bigger than 18". But ya awr strut bar up front and awr rear sway bar is all u need its not a race car so a lot of the stuff some people get is kinda pointless for a dd

But yea, chances are the mounts are torn anyways...there are sets of Medieval mounts on ebay right now though for under $200 shipped...
 
AWR Front Strut or CP Engineering although you won't find the later...

Progress or Mazdaspeed Rear...

GTSpec Trunk Reinforcement Bar...you will need to call them directly for this...last I heard it was around $30-40 Shipped...
 
alright i have an hks so it sounds amazing and neon is ******* gay and also i am getting 17's not 18's are to big and my system just right now is like 2 grand so i call that a lot of money to me cause i don't have like a real job and how do u check if the motor mounts are bad or not ?

Neon is cool if used correctly...

18's are the best size I ever had on the car...MS3's FTMFW...

If you paid $2000 for your system you got *****...

Motor mounts, just look at them and you can see if they are torn or not...

Progress doesn't make a strut bar...

and also i guess u need to check out what i have cause my sub is 500 my amp is 1000 and wiring is 200 and deck but i got dealer price on the amp if u check on rockford the amp is $1700 so i think i did pretty good

And I have less than $500 in it all...car audio is a big waste of money...you can buy soooo much for much cheaper which is why I say you got *****...
 
i like car audio and that stuff isnt that good the JL is good and alpine is but kicker is crape i have all rockford components and i can hit 140 db with my one sub i would love to see ur little JL do that and also do a can trick in the front window
