What shift knobs do you all have?

Previous owner of my car kinda beat up the shift knob so I'd like to replace it. The stock knob isn't bad, but I thought I'd put some feelers out there and see what else is available.

Obviously the RX-8 knob fits, but it has the wrong shift pattern (reverse down and to the right). I know a lot of people like the Autoexe ones but I really don't care for the carbon fibre look, and I think those knobs are too small anyways.

I like this ARC knob a lot (used to have something similar on my old car), but it is really expensive. I prefer something heavy. Nothing too blingy or flashy.

What other options are there?

Have you checked the weight on the stocker yet? I bought one from TWM thinking it's would be a truck load heavier. I had never removed the stock knob before that. Once I did, I felt like I wasted $80. The stock knob is weighty.

Yeah that's kinda why I like the RX-8 knob...heavy and comfortable. The shift pattern would be wrong, which is kind of annoying.

i like the desert eagle knob from twm. its heavy as hell, i think it is heavier then stock and it just looks nice, nothing to crazy

I can send you the instructions of the write up I did on the install. It's pretty easy if you read through it a few times.

yeah send it over... I read through the install that TWM sends out and it seems pretty straightforward, I honestly just havent taken the time to put it in yet. I dont drive my car in the cold weather, so I sometimes am unmotivated to work on it...

Agreed, i removed the TWM shift knob after a couple of days and put it on my jeep, the ms3 stocker is great as it is.

After being so pleased with the effect of removal of the mass from the shift linkage, the last thing I would want to do is have a heavier shift knob. I am thinking now about making something lighter. I used a billiard ball (number 5) for my 5.0 Mustang, maybe I will make a number 3 ball shift knob for my MS3....

If i do, I'll post a "How To".

I installed my old Voodoo knob from my previous car (2001 Miata) but it simply didn't look right with the different shift boot. I've looked at "Monster Knobs" but for now I'm sticking with stock.
