well my car was recently broken into and my seats were stole. so the insurance company is giving me money for some new ones. but what should i get? I had Dynamic Auto Design seats in there, but I was looking at maybe the Corbeau A4s.

Do you think the Corbeaus is to much yellow? (uhm)

I'll tell you right now that the Corbeau is simply a better built seat.

But if looks are what you're going for, then it's really up to you.

the DAD seats were nice, the only thing that bothered me was how you had to relcline them. they had a roller on the side, instead of a lever.

Yeah. Because they were too cheap to actually use a proper lever.

What frightens me is that the roller component will degrade over time. After a couple years (or less) of wear, get into an accident, and *snap*...there's goes the back of the seat, and any support you were granted for your precious vertebrae.

i would go with the Corbeaus but if you had some extra dough i would go with the recaro speed seats, my cousin has one in his wrx and that seat just hugs you and is so confortable

Have you thought about MSP seats? They're very similar to stock MP3 seats, but a little better materials and also has a yellow trim.

Really? That's too bad. That's actually one of the reasons I love proteges. The seats fit me perfectly. Well, I guess I'll give my two cents about the other seats then. I like the looks of the DAD's better, the A4's just seem to have too much yellow.

for some reason the stock seats hurt my lowerback after riding for a while...

You're not the only one, I can vouch for back pain as well. My buddy has a set of DADs nothing bad I can say about them. I think the DADs I sat in where SO much more comfortable than the Corbeaus. Just me though, try to find a set to sit in. That would be your best bet. Glad to hear insurance is covering this why not go Sparco Milano? :)
