I'm about to purchase a turbo timer tonight(first mod) my car is less than a week old. But im sort of stuck on the blitz and apex. Where are all of yours mounted at, what are good spots and whats with the wiring harnesses. I didnt even see one fora a proteg in the applications guide. please help.....

im running a greddy auto timer its pretty cool and very simple to hook up if you need a diagram for the ignition wires i posted them on another thread ghost started

Just get the Compustar alarm. 2-way pager, alarm, all the bells and whistles, with a turbo timer built in.

how much is a computerstart alarm on average...... thanx for that install diagram by the way

hey spoond, where did you place your timer.... is that yours pinned up by teh tach?

im not sure if the mp5 and msp.05 are the same just look and see if the wires are the same and if so they should be no mine is mounted in that compartment on the bottom left side of the steering wheel/if you are talking about whats above my radio no thats the apexi avc-r boost controller

The Compustar has a 2 minute timer after shut off. You can turn it on/off by remote to automatically stay on, or if not necessary for your run, then just drop the ebrake and it will shut off.

if u want ur alarm to work still while the turbo timer is on, get the compustar. i have a blitz fatt dc3. small display so i mounted it between the driver's side vent and my steering wheel (credit to dr. sound). there's a brain box that can be hidden under the steering wheel. if u use the stock alarm, u won't be able to arm the system, but u can lock the inside of the car w/ the power locks and leave it like that or wait until the timer goes off and arm the system

If you didn't race the car before parking it there's no need for a turbo timer. There's more build up of temperature when the car is stop engine running there no air going through the rad and on the turbo.
