The stock exhaust piping i mean. Aluminized steel right? Im a noob to welding so here goes:

What kinda welder do you need to weld this together?

MIG ok?

Stick or feed?

What kinda wire if feed?

I ask cuz im trying to get some options on a custom exhaust idea i have. I did some research but still am unsure.

Are you doing your own welding? if not......the guy doing it should be able to figure it out. Its basic exhaust piping that most cars come with.......whatever that may be

Tig welder is where it's at, word.


But if you are going custom just do full stainless.

Well im trying to build a budget side exit exhaust so ill be doing the welding. I want to make it from the j-pipe back and exit under the rear right side passenger door just before the tire. Im going to need to find where i can get flanges that'll fit the OE J-pipe

Really any 2 bolt there should work, makesure you get atleast 2.5" id. But if I remember right the jpipe was 2 bolts lol.
