What kind of 0-60; 1/4 mile would the MS3 do if it were AWD?

Any guesses what a stock speed3 would do with a good AWD system? Basically, if you could negate massive wheelspin at launch, what times would we see?

I would say about 3-5 tenths a sec better from 0-60 and 2-4 tenths for the 1/4

That would mean 0-60 goes from 5.4sec to 4.9 - 5.1
1/4 goes from 14.0 to 13.6 - 13.8

I would guess a 4.8 or so 0-60 and a mid 13 sec pass. Something comparable to the Evo or STI.

not even close the 0-60 would go down a good bit, but the 1/4 would go up because of the weight, and drive train losses. in drag racing it would probably be a wash

Srsly?

The MS3 traps right at 100ish, in my old car I ran a 13.3@100. I'd say it would be a solid 13.5 car if you drove it right. Of course this all speculation.

no way my sentra traps 112-113 no matter how poorly I drive it with a passenger that went down to 107-106 also the ET went up a couple tenths. adding 2-300 lbs, and a bunch of drive train loss wouldn't help in the 1/4 at all except 60' times

If the MS3 were AWD it would basically be an MS6 and there are stock MS6's running mid 13's.

That's from this forum. A generalization is that for every 1/10 you can drop off the 60' you'll drop 2/10 off the ET. The average MS3 60' is 2.2 and I've seen a stock MS3 run 14.0, drop down to a 1.8 60' and you should be in the 13's with no issue.

not as fast as it would take me to go to the dealer to go buy a new one in AWD that's for sure...if they would in fact do it

+1
Good point. Maybe a little faster, but that heavily relies on being able to successfully launch a AWD. I cry a little inside every time some STi/evo bogs out in 1st.

I based my guesses off my old Evo. 271 stock Evo vs 263 for the stock MS3, Evo weighs a couple hundred more pounds than the MS3 but with AWD it would be about the same. Hence the mid 13 sec and 4.8 0-60.

From my understanding awd systems weight more than fwd systems therfore the numbers would be a little off, depends the numbers might not increase, youll have better launchs but overall the awd systems weights the car down a little more.
