what is this device, under the dash?

i forget what i was doing under there, i think tapping in for my boost gauge, but i came across this little box with a knob that is adjustable, what is this?

Keyless entry/alarm??? Knob could be the sensitivity for the alarm??

its a possibility. maybe when its not cold or when im dressed warmer ill turn it down and up and try it out. unless someone else knows for sure

you are correct, be sure and hit the glass and not the body. The dealer dented mine testing it out one time.

ya its controll for the shock sensor i would not mess with it though i adjusted mine and after it got really sensitive and i had to end up disconnecting it

i adjusted mine as well way to sensitive and now it goes off all the time rain/snow/cars or even looking at the damn thing lol.

Speaking of the factory alarm. Has anyone ever swapped out their horn. The horn on this car is embarrassing. Are there any other cars with horns that bolt right in such as a probe/mx6/626 etc that isn't as weak sounding?

just go with hella supertones, you have to fab a bracket but from what ive heard its 100% worth it, you can probably get steel plates predrilled at a local hardware store that will work great as a bracket.
