What is the low down on NIN's music anthology...

NIN consists of one guy - Trent Reznor. Only time he is a them is when hes playing live, and has a band for obvious reasons...
as for albums, I havent kept up on him but hes had a few albums since then. For the life of me I cant remember the name of his last CD and I have it in the car, shame on me.

I was never into NIN, but my girlfriend is, and got me listening to "Right where i Belong" and it is one of the best songs iv ever heard. Good job Trent.

Been a fan of nails since '95 and ive seen'em live around 26+ times (kinda losing count at this point) and ive met TR a few times too. Heres the break down on albums, singles, and EPs

Further Down The Spiral (remix album to TDS)
and pretty much everything else is singles. Pretty Hate is an awesome album but totally sounds dated (good old 80's synth). Broken is a really kick ass CD, very very angry and loud. The Downward Spiral is what made TR big, good collection of noise and mood swings. The Fragile is my personal favorite. Its a 2CD album which has some really awesome songs like "The Big Come Down", "Just Like You Imagined", and "The Wretched" just to name a few. With Teeth is a good album, but not really my favorite. "Love Is Not Enough", "With Teeth", and "Getting Smaller" are the tracks i really enjoy off of this one. Id say that if you are wanting to get into nails, check out broken first. Its just an "in your face" kinda album, follow that up with The Downward Spiral. If you like those, then move onto The Fragile, followed by With Teeth and then Pretty Hate Machine. The remix albums are really only for the die-hard fans since they really are a collection of "noise" more then songs lol Feel free to PM me with any kinda questions........

I found Broken at my favorite used music store for $2.95. I'm digging it so far...very dynamic. Love the sneakyness of tracks 98 and 99.
I will follow your recommendation and get The Fragile (already have a few songs off that one including "We're In This Together" which I think is bad-ass) and With Teeth. I got The Downward Spiral when it first came out back in high school but have lost it since....so it needs to be replaced.
