What is the Largest or Most Impressive Thing You Have Hauled in Your Hatch?

I'll start.

1. Today I hauled a 2-drawer metal office filing cabinet home. That was tricky. It was shifting as I took a 360 deg on-ramp home. Also had a Dodge SRT neon come up behind me while I'm hauling this. I was driving like there was a baby on my roof; I was afraid of the pointy corners of the cabinet breaking my rear window if I cornered or launched too fast.

2. Last October, I picked up a new Toro single-stage snow-blower (thank God due to the 110 inches of snow we had this winter), and the blower in the box fit in the hatch perfect. I think the salesman helping me could not believe it fit in there.

Give me your coolest stories. I know for sure someone hauled a 1/2 barrel and someone else had 4 new tires back there.

how's about a full size futon that un-folds into a bed in my 2001 ford focus...its a hatch back too.... i could not use my passenger side mirror due to the box splitting the driver and passenger side...lol

in my Speed...nothing yet... wait... take that back, how's about a couple of
M1s...

nothing impressive though... =\

A 42" flat screen in its box, plus the TV stand in its box, plus two end tables and a coffee table, in their boxes.

Impressive! Just the TV alone, and then all that other stuff added ups the ante. I got a 52" flat screen a year ago. Needed my dad's van and it still barely fit. We were sitting on a floating 3rd seat, meaning it was not attached to the floor. That was the only way to haul us and the TV.

65 gals of paint

Was that 13 5 gallon pails or 65 1 gallon pails!?

An 8 foot plastic swimming pool for my dog.

OK, so you had to have folded that, right?

p.s.: Enough of the mom jokes. We all know we've hauled everyone's mom around in our cars.

yeah, I folded it. What was funny is the look the lot boy gave me when he brought the pool out on a cart. He kinda rolled his eyes and gave me that "get a truck you idiot" look. I folded the seats down, rolled both edges of the pool and rolled the back up slightly. I shut the hatch. He was surprised. Honestly, so was I. :)

1) A nine foot tall X-Mass tree. Had to leave the back open though.

2) 50 inch plasma tv. Had to take it out of the box and sit it in the back seat floor. Also needed to open the rear windows to close the doors. I was to scared to lay it down or lean it too much so I sat in the pass. seat(wife drove) and reached around to hold it upright. It was a real pain on the highway as air came in the open windows and hit the flat front, almost pulling my arm out of socket. But they wanted $80 for delivery. HA!

46" Samsung LCD tv in box.

The folks at Circuit City swore it would never go in, "We load cars all day, including Mazda3s, it won't fit." Made them eat their damn words.

I moved out of my dorm in two trips. Being a guy with 9 months worth of built up s*** in the room, I'm sure you can imagine how much that is. The two inch drop from the springs plus the drop from the weight = no rubbage surprisingly.
