I'm very seriously thinking of passing on the Dark Side. N/A is fun and reliable yes, but slow lol... For 2006, as my sig says, i'm upgrading the car to withstand the rigors of boosting. I will probably use a standard Hi-Boost kit with the ''+10 psi'' package. I know most of the parts needed to acheived 1 bar of boost daily (15 psi).
As i'm planning my budget, please help me with my kit. I'm surely missing some parts...
- All of the parts in my signature. I will not change cams of p/p the head. I want a 'stock' FS with the US-spec midrange cams.
- Hi-Boost Standard kit (duh) upgraded with 440cc RC injectors and Haltech E6X, all of this provided and programmed by Juan.
- Forged rods (probably Crower or Oliver) and forged pistons (idealy CP 8.5:1).
Now the questions:
1- Do I need to upgrade the fuel system (rail, lines, pump)?
2- Will the MSP LSD be able to control the power or should I stay with the stocker and savec cash for a $$$$ Quaife?
