What have you done to your P5 today?

Visited two beaches over the weekend. Went to Oak Island in NC for a wedding and stayed at my Parent's beach house in Myrtle Beach SC an hour south of Oak Island. Drove roughly 1,000 miles this weekend and averaged about 29 mpg

Pro5 back from paint. Rust on the rear wheel wells, faded spoiler, back bumper damage from another car, and oxidized headlights. The Finished Product

Looks pretty good OG. Now to finish what they did, id say if you have a buffer to go over those areas with a final polish and remove those buffing trails.

Did some work to my P5 after a blow head gasket

Now the fans wont come on at temp. Looking in to the temp sen on the water outlet, if it isnt that then I guess it must be the fans. They come on with the AC on, Bluh. Pretty prund of all the work my father and I did though.

Those temp sending units can be finicky. Trust me... overheated mine due to it.

Possible...when mine overheated a few years back, I replaced the t-stat and was still getting high temps. Replaced the coolant temp sensor just beyond the upper hose and all has been good since.

Spoiler is 3M carbon wrapped... Needs to be replaced soon.
