What have you done to your P5 today?

very nice

now to find yourself an 03.5 MSP lip

I'd love to have an MSP lip (as many other P5 owners do), but to get one and have it painted...ack! Find me some money and I'm there :) In the meantime, I'll try to enjoy my new additions.

i know i loved my eibach/Tokico combo on my old P5 (if only the motors would have lasted. . . .. . . )

But as Lewis said, enjoy the suspension bits!!

Thankfully i picked up all my MSP lips before they were super illusive

Check your endlinks in the front, crank those little bastards down really tight, with an impact if you have one.

Had to tighten the endlinks with a hex bit in the middle of the endlink nut, and then tighten the nut with a ratcheting wrench. Don't know if I got it to the torque specs or not. Couldn't figure out a way to get the torque wrench on there.

Ohhh, gotcha. I use Moog endlinks, they have a 15mm nut on the back you can torque them down with. Just try to get as much torque as you can on those without snapping the hex end. If there's clunking, it's usually loose endlinks.

I like the look, except the police here lately have made me remove my vinyl(on my tails), after being applied for over 2 years. I also find it humorous that when he tried to threaten me about how much the ticket for the tails was, he tried to say that I had film on my headlights with my black bezels, and I told him there wasn't anything covering them, and they were completely legal. He checked the marking on it them, and was like, "oh ok, they're DOT approved" I told him it was vinyl on my tails, and when I got home I'd peel it off.
I see idiots cruising around town all the time with PAINTED headlights while running factory halogen bulbs that literally diminishes light output by at least half or more. Don't see how they weren't instantly stopped.

I hate OPD(Ocala Police Dept), they're just cocky, arrogant, and rude. I have been pulled over(for speeding), on other occasions in the past, FHP, nor Marion County Sheriffs informed me that my vehicle was in any violation(mod wise).
Oh I know. I've been to Ocala, it's no joke. I see people here who also tint their headlight until they are black and run halogen bulbs. These are the same people who blackout there tail lights and I almost rear end them because you can't see the blinker or tail lights.

Just remembered that I had to use a crow's feet on my MS3 to tighten the endlinks to spec. Will get those out and give them a try. Thanks for the reminder :)

Put some yellow overlays on my fogs

I need to do this (again). Were you able to get in the corner where the amber running light/turn signal is, or did you just have to leave that hazy? I didn't have any luck with that part the last time I restored my lens.

I didn't touch that part. My headlights weren't all that hazy to begin with, they just needed a touch up. If they were any worse, I would've taken the bumper off, but it wasn't really necessary. The first time I restored them (like a year ago) I used the turtle wax kit, which was able to get in the corners but didn't do nearly as nice of a job.

In other news, my OEM floormats are shot. I noticed the Mazda patch on the passenger floormat is hanging by a single thread. I may eventually upgrade to nice weather mats, but of the time being...who cares? I put my dirty shoes on them

$40 shipped for some brand new OEM carpeted mats:

Good deal IMO considering the shipping on these is pretty costly due to their weight. And then get some $10-$20 "cut-to-fit" rubber mats from Walmart to go over them and you're set for a LONG time. My carpeted ones from '03 have little to no wear. Still look pretty new :)

There is this weather-mat place my wife showed me that has laser-scanned, cut mats for almost every car. They fit flawlessly and have a great warranty. I will eventually get those
