What have you done to your P5 today?

Got my P5 tinted today : ) 20% on all windows and also received my HIDs DDM 55w 4500k bulbs (breakn)

yeah this is the thrid time ive been hit in like the last 2 maybe 2 and half years. hasnt been my fault once. girl pulled out in front of me trying to make a blind left. saw her too late. im gonna try to get the car back so i can get all my parts back to resell.

i feel your pain, ive been backed into 3 times in the last 2+ years. for once i want to be in the car when it happens rather than having it always happen when im parked and inside!

yeah i saw your post about when they back down the whole side of the car. i felt the pain lol. for me it was sideswiped....down the drivers side. next accident i got rear ended a week before my wedding. now this one...i got no luck.

Painted my winter rims... now to let them dry and get them on before the snow falls and sticks.

did the fog light switch mod and figured you dont really have to tap it into the wire thats in the switch. hopefully new tints today and evo rims on

Drove it to Saint Petersburg and camped all week with the family

Then on the way home today, the passenger side healdight went out, and the driver's side high beam started strobing

Swapped bulbs and ballasts around and same thing happened, no passenger light, and the driver's high beam kept strobing


I don't have a multimeter to check the plug on the passenger side either yet, so i'm not sure if it shorted out or what the deal is. . .

removed rear wiper motor and mazda 6 arm, delete plug should be here soon
removed front fenders and front bumper so its easier to work around
finished removing rest of AC parts inside the car
removed rear cf spoiler since it needs to be recleared

this week more winter goodies should be arriving, and interior is next to be removed.

Today the P5 decided that I shouldn't wear a seat belt... the buckle seized up at the beginning of my shift... so I had to drive around delivering for 6 hours with no seat belt (boom06) bad ass

interior is getting stripped to fix a few soft spots in the floor, then por15 the floor inside and out. After that's dried soundproofing and new carpet to go back in. While the seats are out i might swap in new ones or have these recovered in something new, also have to run new wiring for the new stereo that's being installed in the hatch. Also have a few secret projects that might find their way into the interior if i have time..

lol i know huh. so just read ur sig. mazda protege speed headlights bolt on to the p5 just like stock ones?

no, theres some wiring to take car of because the P5 has 2 bulbs, where as the MSP uses a dual filament H4.. I actually bought it with the standard protege headlights, then painted them black. I guess the normal protege ones were waaay cheaper than P5's...
I doubt it's hard, maybe one day I'll try and find a stock P5 to compare them too
