What have you done to your P5 today?

got my side motor mount inserts back in today along with bronzoil shifter bushings. cant wait to take it all for a spin :D

Today just gets more awesome, got a CEL because apparently my rear O2 sensor is acting up again even though it's relatively new (maybe 5-6 months old). Grrrrrr.

Painted my rear calipers with them still on the car, we'll see how long that holds up. I used a high-temperature enamel that I've used in the past on my exhaust manifold heat shield, hopefully it holds up just as well.

In the short trip to Canadian Tire and back my front-left caliper got hot enough to cook on :S

Suffice to say, I ordered some rebuilt calipers from rockauto. I don't think I'll be doing much driving till I pick them up...

Drove it...FINALLY...had it on the road for almost 30 minutes before bringing it back to park it...man I miss the car...time to get it detailed, put the sail panel/B-pillars in and put a FS sign on it...hoping to get $4,000, if not then it will stay around and I'm gonna throw the insurance back on it...

Got the hazards to work (loose connector), fixed how the radio sat in the bezel, and just looked at it for awhile. Tomorrow are the brakes. Now if only I could find a belt that will work for amy's jeep that is about 4" shorter than 90" and my repair weekend is complete

Well...I got a little ricey today. Installed the OBX header, catted midpipe, and the Megan Cat back. Left the tip silencer on, and it's not too rediculous. Personally, I kind of like it. It will look better when it's a little lower...

Everyone keeps saying that, but it seems like this thing has been dragging out forever for me! lol Had to wait to put all my ducks in a row though, but as far as the work went, it was just removing and replacing a motor. No crazy engine swap or anything like that that takes months of planning/searching for parts. hahaha

Can't wait to get some seat time in it!

Busy-ish day.

Installed my CAI, debated just using it as an SRI by slapping the filter on the maf. Started working on all of my rust (by the way, if anyone has any tips it'd be appreciated). Pulled the rear bumper and tried to figure out if I can fix the square hole left by a nice fellow with a hitch and the apparent inability to write down an "I'm sorry" along with a phone number. Also, niteshaded one of my tails to see how it would look.... I hate it. Maybe its because I left the reverse and indicator light clear, but it doesn't look as good as stock to me. Any tips on how to take it off?

Also got out the ractive header and short shifter to be installed tomorrow along with more rust patching/hopefully bumper patching/rear valance painting. Oh and I bought a set of Ecsta's with ~1/2 a summer on them for $150.

I have a set of stocks sitting in my garage because I bought the altezzas. If you need to replace your tails, send me an offer. I live in Colorado, 80126.

Can you remove those painted mirror caps to paint them easy without breaking? Mine are faded horribly.....thinking of just doing them black one day with the valence

Yea, just take a screwdriver or putty knife and pry it off. Some clips might break, but I don't know of any other way to get them off. Maybe pop the mirror off and see if you can access the clips from the inside.

Mine weren't on there very secure, and pulled right off when I was trying to take off the carbon fiber mirror covers. I've got some glue at work that I'm going to use on them though, after I paint them black as well. Also doing the spoiler black, too much red back there for me.
