What have you done to your P5 today?

Considering trading in the P5 for a nice F-150 (country boy at heart). But before that happens I have to get Amy a new car, her Jeep is in a bad way, but has lots of potential to be a bogger if the Control Arm is fixed.

Stickerbombed my front lip ;)

^Did you hit a manhole cover, or a curb, or a pothole. I nailed a raised manhole cover once, and the resulting tire damage looked very similar to yours.

Im pretty careful seeing as though the floods that tore threw my hometown (Ipswich, Queensland) in January pretty much farked up all the roads I take to work, it could possibly be from potholes...

Drove out to Ohio over the weekend for a bbq/wrench meet. Swapped the summer wheels on and installed a Progress rsb along with AWR end links and replaced the 03.5 MSP axle back with a Thermal R&D cat back.

Starter had its last start at 115k miles apparently yesterday after picking up my boys from their moms. Been cranking odd one crank will be slow like a low battery then the next would be fine. New one on the way by noon.

Autocrossed it Saturday morning. Spun on the first run! Cold Azenis+Cold pavement+big swaybar+too much adrenaline=SPINNY!!! :D

If I can come across some extra cash I would love to get the hood painted, since the clear coat is shot, along with the rest of the car to fix all of the uneven areas.

That car has been all over jacksonville area.. autoline, another used car dealer on atlantic, then another one on beach i think, then someone tried to sell it on craigs list for awhile.

Changing oil, using Bosch 3312 Integra GSR filter, changing coil packs and wires (plugs got done 4K ago), and pulling EGR to clean as best I can today. Hoping to mitigate my random misfire problem. Next up will be a new intake if this doesn't work. Car is at 121K right now.

Any reason you are using the 3312? I use the 3323 which is a replacement for the 626 v6 and allows 4qts to be added.

How do you like the new setup, Jeff?

I like it but have to say I thought it would be a bit louder. This is the first time I've ever had an aftermarket exhaust on any of my cars so guess you could say I was hoping for a bit more 'growl'. Guess I should have slapped on your mid-pipe? haha At idle it sounds like the MSP axle back but is def. louder during WOT and cruising at 3K and no drone to complain about. I'm happy with the purchase and still contemplating getting a mid-pipe with a hi-flo cat and maybe even a header. *kicks self in ass again for selling the Ractive*

Well if you want my header after the swap, let me know. It's a wrapped Spooled^ Header and I like it. But headers make our cars bloody loud. Tam might kill you. ;)

I'll be honest, I thought about it on the drive home since I knew you'd be doing the KL swap soon. Shoot me a pm on what you have in mind when you get the swap done...until then I'll have to keep Tam from driving my car this way she won't know the header is on and will think the exhaust is uber loud. Of course after doing me in, she might just hop on 80 and head West! lmao

What kind of mess does that make when you unscrew it? Does more than half a liter of oil just leak down the back of the engine?

No more than using the stock size filter and it's much more user friendly putting 4qts in vs 3.7.

LOL! Nevermind!

I'll let ya know, no worries. Glad you got everything all sorted out this weekend though, mate. I love your P5.

Using the 3312 after doing a bunch of research here. It has the same thread pattern and the same diameter rubber gasket, but is over twice as big. You should check it out. I'd say it's well over 4" across and 4" deep.
