What have you done to your P5 today?

LOL! Nevermind!

I'll let ya know, no worries. Glad you got everything all sorted out this weekend though, mate. I love your P5.

Don't be scared...she's only 5'4" but full of piss and vinegar when she wants to be which is why I love her so!

Alright, thanks! Yeah, I was happy to get it all done but def. didn't intend to be in the air that long. Thanks again for the trip to the Home Depot to source some bolts/nuts and for the kind words. Love the orange on your 22v...you should paint the RPF1's orange! j/k Also loved the sound of the car while in the cabin...that is how I'd like mine to sound but have a good feeling tha Tam would refuse to drive the car if it did. haha

Using the 3312 after doing a bunch of research here. It has the same thread pattern and the same diameter rubber gasket, but is over twice as big. You should check it out. I'd say it's well over 4" across and 4" deep.

I see....never saw that particular part # being used on our cars. Does it allow for more oil to be used...are you running a stock pan or the AWR pan?

Running the stock pan and yes it definitely allows for more oil to be used. Last time I used a full 4 qts and was still just a touch under full on the dipstick. Now you've got me curious though, so I'll be looking up this AWR pan.

the AWR pan adds a ton of capacity, and it has baffles so your less likely to starve for oil in corners. Ill be getting one soon, hopefully it clears my exhaust

Well it was Sunday when i did it, but i did an engine bay clean up :) results 7/10 rating..wish i had some more degreaser, there are still some spots that are still dirty. but for the most part it cleaned it up quite nicely :)

Good lord, is there a week that goes by that you don't do some sort of cleaning on the car? Not that it is a bad thing...

hahaha, i work at a detail shop, "Hi-Def Auto Detailer" here in Dallas, so on my downtime i usually clean my car. and i live behind an area where they are constructing an extension of our main highway, so all that dust from the construction blows right by the car, so i like to keep it clean on a weekly basis :D next up is a polish to rid of my swirls and scratch marks and then im gonna get a sealent on it :)

lol...next time I'm in Autozone I'll have to compare the 3312 to the 3323. 4qts will put me right on the full mark on the dipstick using the 3323.

crossed the 127000 mile marker today.

I passed 146000K. :p

A few pics of the Thermal exhaust.

Mmmmmm....shiny bits

Come take a road trip and detail me car! I have yet to give it a proper detail since I bought it 2 years ago. Clay bar is one thing I am willing to pay someone else to do... **** that work.

lols dude man, clay is not too bad, what i hate doing the most is interior work especially shampooing interior ughh. vomit cars are almost a weekly basis grossniss.

Found a bad ass program for making switch panels. Although this setup here would cost $47 to make. So... Ill just pick up some ABS and make it myself. lol

Here will be the switches for the SC and 2nd cooling fan. Also a voltage gauge if i can find a 5v power source.

Less likely, but still happens. Unfortunately, the only way to completely prevent the starving issue is a dry sump setup. :(

I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a regulated 5V source, but never fear it's very easy to make one :)

Is it an automotive voltage gauge? I don't understand why it would require a 5V source... (scratch)
