What have you done to your P5 today?

Getting the P5 ready...moving to Florida!!! P5 gets a nice mileage free ride on a U-Haul trailer, also going to finally install my bike racks so I can tote them on top of the P5 for the move!! Can't wait for the warm weather!!!

And if I may... get some good quality pliers. Cheap ones from Menards or Fleet Farm will bend with the first pull. I fought mine tooth and nail with bent prongs.

I didn't have that for my install, I managed to do it with a knife, pair of pliers, and a lot of patience (5 mins total)

prepared for a 600 mile trip tomorrow...removed roof rack, alignment, new K&N air filter, crossed 162K miles, and my car must have thought it needed more attention than its already getting, cause the left headlight went out :/

Got my GR-2 struts in so I was able to install my Racing Beat springs and new struts. However, one of my rear links would not come off the old strut and since I need my car tomorrow I have to fork over $80 to Oreilly for new ones instead of getting them from Rockauto :(

you dont need enlinks to drive the car...you could have just ordered them from rock auto, the car will handle worse, but its not a safety hazard or anything

You could get seasick... but that's about it. Haha. I've done it. Rode like a damn Cadillac.

i give it a week before you start complaining how hot it is! lol

Why you coming down this way? Seems a steady flow of northerners coming down this way.

Fatti, FlyinHawaian, now you

Defective bulb? I'd ask for a replacement from wherever you bought it...

Yeah....if it actually ate a good bulb ib a couple days you just set a world record....i usually replace mine every year....the high beam bulbs are good though...8 years and counting

Get some HIDs... I have yet to have on pop on over 1 year of running.

Turned out to be my fault: Apparently, I left it loose! All better now that I plugged it in properly! (facepalm)

Indeed. Not as bad as the most recent previous fail, though: I realized one day that the rear wiper and washer weren't working. The fronts were, and all I could think of as a cause was that the wiper/washer switch was busted, so I bought a replacement stalk from another member parting out his P5.

The day before the part arrived, it occurred to me to check the fuse. The fuse was the problem. Somewhat epic user screw-up: The fuse wasn't blown, it was out of place because I'd been doing some work on the electrical system the week before, and moved that fuse by accident in to the empty spot next to it!

Yea but I wouldn't feel comfortable driving it this way. I'd be constantly thinking about it and not concentrating on the road......

It will be fine....I haven't had rear endlinks or an rsb hooked up since Septemeber. That should be fixed by the end of today. :)

I have an MPV wiper stalk. It's in my MPV. ...It won't be when we sell it, though! ;-)

lmao...nice
