What have you done to your P5 today?

my insurance and registration was up today so i spent $923 and i'm good to go for another year (2thumbs). that also means i have now had my car for 1 year! and it'll only get better.

thinking about getting some 3000K hid's for the winter, anyone know what they are like to drive around with everyday. also looking at getting a corbeau a4 seat. these stock seats dont have nearly enough side support.

edit: my TWM shift knob finally shipped!!! and only two months after i ordered it (ugh)

i got them but went back to my 6000K, the yellow just seemed kinda ugly especially when driving behind a white car but i may give them a shot again soon

Fishy had some 3000k bulbs in his HID's. I thought they looked really cool. Hopefully he will chime in with his opinion.

And I completely and totally agree with you on the stock P5 and MSP seats. I think they're terrible. No side support at all and aren't even much good on long drives. I always wanted to swap them out but was on the fench about spending big money just on seats. I picked up some Recaro's from an EVO8 and they are glorious.

Deleted the power steering cooler. Now I dont have to cut into the crash bar. (more safe! lol

Should be doing some cutting this weekend.

The 3000k are fine to drive around with. Definitely less light output than my 6000k bulbs but nothing crazy. And they look different from all the stuff out on the road for the most part. It's a worthwhile 15 dollar purchase. If you don't like them, just put your old bulbs back in or buy new ones.

I was driving to school and about a kilometer away from home I heard a grinding sound over the radio, pulled over, looked under and saw that, FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

The right side of the cover is pretty much rust metal cloth, you can bend it and fold it, that's normal right???

The replacement part appears to be BJ0E-42-74XB and luckily it's < $100. I'll just have to wait a few days to get it ;_;

11 points total, apparently wagonbacker likes exercising his powers

Pulled the bumper, crash bar and intake system off my car today while the wife and mother-in-law were out wasting money shopping.

well i just order some 3000k bulbs so i guess i'll find out how they are in my projectors.
depending on how these are i may want to do 3000k hid fogs instead of just yellow halogens.
