i've tried to get to the EGR before to clean it, but i dont have the know-how/tools to do it

Then how will you put a new one on??? All you do is take out the intake, then there are two bolts underneath the throttle body...very easy to do...

i got the intake off but i couldnt find a way to get to the two bolts and take them off

Just put your hand underneath...once you get the intake off, just put the socket under there and turn...there is also one plug...I think they are 12mm bolts...

do you need a special kind of socket? as i recall, we had trouble getting the socket down in there

You should have pretty good flow thru there. How big of an intercooler are you going?

Instead of cutting all kinds of stuff I can still retain my fogs, washer bottle, and not have to cut the crash bar.

I don't see how it'd be a problem. Are you going to retain a fan there? That could be equally beneficial. Trigger it on high intake air temp...

Pull or push? I think I could fit two small 7" fans. haha

You may have some issues with fitting the pusher... depending on how the IC is really mounted. You're running the standard puller radiator fan, right?

Once I get this out of the way ill be upgrading the exhaust.

installed MP3 ecu... man... that thing hurt. Cut my hand..even while wearing gloves, but finally got it in there. Havent driven it much..just got to take it on and off the highway...feels good so far.
