Picked up a set of winter rims
They're 14x6 +45 from a second generation MX-6. I'm considering painting them...

Very busy weekend wrenching. Ivan was stripping a lot of parts from his P5. (I hope he doesn't mind me posting this. Haha!)
As far as my P5 goes, I bought Ivans JDM tails. I was on the fence about them but they really do make the car look much better. And I bought/installed his front and rear CorkSport strut bars. These things are beefy! He also gave me a great offer on his wheels so I bought those too. Then my friend heard me talking about putting track tires on the Enkei's so he offered 6 lightly used Nitto NT01's for a great deal. So while it was a very expensive weekend for me, I'm pretty pleased.

Muhahaha! Nice. Don't forget ProbeTalk.com too. Doesn't it just make sense to put a KL in? Instad of boosting the FS, for a few hundred bucks more cats can have a V6 in their Proteges that makes the same amount of power. Especially since the 2.0l to KL is basically a bolt in swap. And I just prefer N/A.
This weekend put a little dent in my KLZE fund but I'm still planning on buying a motor within a week or two. I gotta have something to start working on!

Weren't we juuuust talking about not going to low because of the winter, mate? heh-heh. And the new track tires I'm getting are 225/45-17 so they are a bit wider. And all my summer wheels/tires are 215/40-17x7. And I'm on Tein S-techs and Tokico blues. Unless that was all sarcasm, then nevermind.
Though Ivan's (now Kevin's) BC coilovers are on a shelf in my garage. I'll slap them on, lower it all the way down so the bumpers are on the ground, snap a pic and get mad respect, yO!

He is patenting a way to remove the rear motor mount without removing the intake mani or cross member. Still seemed like a PITA but I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

Well actually I didn't remove the throttle body, EGR valve or anything. This was once I got all the bolts loose. The son of a b**** just wouldn't come off cause the tolerance on the bolt holes is so small that it was very hard to actually pull out the motor mount.
I am however patenting how you take the nut off the bolt that goes through the center of the mount. I came in from the passenger wheel well with 3 12" extensions, a universal swivel joint and the socket and then used the impact wrench while the other side was held by someone. It worked wonders.
