What have you done to your P5 today?

Ha ha, well thank you. I usually stay quiet and just troll, then bust out like that once and a while with all kinds of goodness, lol. I actually made 3 posts today now.

Bought a replacement for my bent wheel last night. Now I gotta do some tire shopping, do some brake work, lokk at changing tranny fluid...........

I've looked into those as well. I don't see a problem with them. I would fill them with some flexible silicone for added peace of mind. Shouldn't give you many, if any vibes and will hold them in place better.

I came home last night after a great time at the local cookout/meet and came to find a bunch of stuff waiting for me to install. Pics will come as things are installed.

ScratchNSniff, its coming along. I like where you're going with it. Especially shaving the emblems on the back cuz it just seemed like too much going on back there before. Please tell me they aren't finished sanding and taking those dents out, cuz I can even see in the pics that it looks like its in the first steps and if painted like that you'll be able to see every one of those spots. What in the world happened on the rear roof, dent from the inside out, lol? I can only imagine what you were cramming into the back and hit the roof with, ha ha. I do like the headlights ALOT. Just the edges around the light, like the clear lip thing. I did something like that before and found that the lip around the headlight appeared kindof clear white and threw the look off, so I painted the backside of the clear overhang lip thing and it really cleaned it up. Also, I can help you polish your lenses to look brand new without spraying them with clearcoat like most people do. But, it all looks good and is heading in a direction of sweetness. Let me know if my constructive criticism helps any, lol. I welcome you to do the same with my car.

My boy...lol...it was just some pics...definitely not done with it at all...he has done a lot of work since...Jeff and Mike were very impressed with his workmanship...for the price it really cannot be beaten...I have a few things I will need help with though...

Scratch. Have you already got tail lights for your car? What are you putting on? Can I interest you in a set you could paint to match your fronts?

PM me if your interested and we can talk price.

Thanks for the offer, but already have two sets...

Hey Alex I got those Rally Armor Mudflaps in and measured the thickness. They are 1/16" thick. They seem plently durable and for 16 bucks, I can buy 5 more sets and still pay less than one set of the urethane ones.

put in my 3k hid headlights tonight. one of them is a little deeper of a yellow than the other. but overall when driving, im not a huge fan of it. probably going back to the 6ks and will keep running those. at least the bulbs were only $12

yea, that seems to be a problem with the 3000K's, alot of the bulbs arent consistent in color
i got lucky with mine and they are both the exact same, but my brother has one that never warms up and the other one warms up like normal...
i think it has something to do with his ballasts though, i have the more expensive (back when i bought them they were $90) and he has the $40 and already had to replace one

Thanks, what is up with the tails though??? They aren't on the car yet...

lol...I was referring to justanothermp5's post. The red P5 with color matched headlights also had color matched alteezas. Saw the pics and it's looking good. Headlights are looking good as well as the car overall.

I logged 748 miles the last two days....drove to Ohio for a kick ass picnic and got to meet some great people. While there, I did this (thanks to UCMP3) for the wire and letting me use his car as a visual ref.
